What makes us different than our competitors?
We will sell equipment "as-is," or "operational" just like our competitors. However, when we sell equipment rebuilt and warrantied*, we perform the following extensive (and often expensive) procedures during our rebuild process of
plasma tools which utilize quartz, or metal chambers:
- All components are disassembled to frame (machine is "ripped down")
- All painted parts are re-painted
- Quartz chamber systems: all quartzware is repaired/cleaned/annealed/fire polished. The quartz chamber spec'd out as new (or a new chamber installed, if the chamber is found to be out of spec)
- Metal chamber systems: the chamber is disassembled and cleaned, chamber RF components are refurb'd, or replaced with new. New seals are installed.
- The RF Generator is disassembled, and the following new parts are installed: Power tube, oscillator tube, fans.
- We then Verify that the PA section is correctly configured.
- We go then go through the OEM alignment procedure, and make sure the generator meets OEM specs.
- The Vacuum system (plumbing) is chem cleaned.
- The Pump valve is rebuilt
- The system is then reassembled. New gas line tubing is installed as necessary.
- New fittings/valves are installed as necessary.
- The system is then Helium leak checked.
- The system Watt meters and vacuum gauge are calibrated. The system timer is verified.
- The system logic is debugged.
- The system is then "put into final test" and a QA record (see below) is created. This establishes system baseline readings, and aids with troubleshooting the system later.
- The extensive rebuild procedure greatly reduces chances of cross contamination, and makes the system perform "as new." Process results are, obviously, enhanced and more repeatable as a result.
